Wedding Prep

 

In early January 2010 we travelled to NZ to get married. Before we got married we travelled about to spend some time catching up with family.

First stop was St Arnaud - Ping was very excited to meet her nephew Otis for the first time. 

We climbed Mt Robert which over-looks Lake Rotoiti with Simon, Mary, Asha, Will and Molly.

We then  travelled to Woodlands where we caught up with Don's parents and Don's sister Fi, Brother in law Steve and their babies Luke and Matilda. Luke had a game of golf with his Grandad and won fair and square.

In Dunedin we caught up with Don's Grandma Merrilees who was in great form and wished us both well for our upcoming wedding.

 

Next stop was Masterton where the wedding prep began in earnest. Ping had a kitchen tea party where she received some great gadgets for the kitchen along with some favourite recipes.

 

  

The week before the wedding was mayhem with dozens of good friends involved in helping us set up a fantastic and colourful wedding reception.

But we still had time to catch up with all the whanau at a big family BBQ. 

 

After all the hard work was done, we were finally ready to get married!
