Hi there!

A quick update from us...

There has been a lot of nudity over the last few weeks as we have been having the loveliest of weather - far too hot for any clothes!

Alby has learnt to turn on the TV... or at least what to do with the remote...

There has been lots of playing outside with the water...

 And nudey al fresco dinners...

Walks in the park with some clothes on.

And not many at all (collecting sticks for Baxter)

The Queens 60th Jubilee celebrations are in full swing. Don filmed and we watched the Military Muster in the Great Park. It was pretty cool...

We went and celebrated our friend Rich's 30th birthday. He has an indoor swimming pool so Alby and Don went swimming.

Alby and Gareth, who's getting in some practise as he's going to be a Dad in November!

Meal times are getting to be interesting. A lot of food ends up on the floor...

The last few days have been especially interesting. There was a trip to the hospital on Friday night in an ambulance for Alby as he woke up coughing and not being able to breath - a bad case of croup. Some steroids and a few hours in A+E and we were home again.

Saturday was uneventful and then on Sunday it was my turn to go to the hospital as we thought that the bubba had decided to make an early entrance and I spent most of the night being monitored and given my own dose of steroids to mature the baby's lungs in case it did decide to come... It didn't. All very exciting but apparently false labour and nothing to worry about. So all is well and back to normal!

And then there is Alby and his best friend Gabriel... We think it's love.

Camping Trip

This week Alby caught up with Gabriel at home and we captured the end of this great interaction between the two of them.

They are the best of mates and hopefully Gabe's Mum Lou will look after Alby when our next wee one arrives.

Ping and Alby have had the flu this week and have made the most of afternoon sleeps where possible.

For the last half of this week we decided to head off on a camping trip. We went to the Peak District and stayed at a campsite on a farm called Upper Both Farm in Edale.

We arrived a bit late and had to put the tent up in the rain.

We took Baxter with us and he didn't really enjoy the rain but loved the sheep and would have chased them if we had given him the chance.

Someone managed to lock the keys in the car and the friendly RAC man came and opened up the car for us.

Our new tent was great and although it has 3 rooms, we ended up sleeping together cos it was warmer and we could keep a close eye on our wee man.

Alby loved it too and kept us well entertained.

When it stopped raining we went for a walk up the valley towards the Pennine Way. It was very beautiful and we will hopefully go back there in the summer when it's a bit sunnier.
