A letter to my Dad.

Dear Dadda,
How are you? How has Poland been? Mumma tells me you are now in Kiev and you have already had some chicken. Was it yummy?

I just wanted to tell you what I've been up to today and last week since you've been away.

Firstly I've done a bit of sleeping. Mumma says unfortunately not at night when I am supposed to be asleep but during the day after I've had some milk. I can't help it... It's just so comfy.

Last week we went to visit Nick, Lucy, Noah and Willow. I had such a lovely time playing with the big kids. They were so kind to me.

Mum thought it would be a good idea to dress up in support of the All Blacks on Saturday. So I wore my All Blacks top and shoes. They didn't do very well though.

After the rugby Uncle Toby and Aunty Lucie came and stayed the night. They brought me a cool sheep that they called Shaun and some bubbles which I loved watching when I was in the bath. Mumma forgot to take any photos though so I can't show you.

We are missing you lots Dadda. But Mumma says we have quite a good routine going.

In the morning Mumma takes me to her bed and we have a cuddle. Sometimes I am a bit grumpy...

Then we get up and take Baxter for a walk. Usually I am still in my PJ's...

Then it's home for breakfast... I like to help Mum feed me and have to have my own spoon or I shout really loudly.

After breakfast I then have a bit of a play then have a nap for a bit.

Then its nearly lunch time and I play some more and practise my rolling.

Today while Mumma got my lunch ready she gave me these yummy things to eat. They were delicious and I think I am very clever eating them by myself.

And after lunch I did my favourite thing in the whole world. Jolly Jumping!

I'm going to bed now to have another nap. Mum says I'm a bit grumpy today. She thinks it's my teeth coming through but we can't see anything yet...

Oh yeah - she also said to show you this huge spider she found in the bathroom the other night. She got a bit of a fright.

I miss you loads Dadda and hope you are having a good time and working hard. Mum has shown me some of your videos and they look great.

I'l write to you again soon.

Lots of love, Alby.

p.s Mumma says hi and that she loves and misses you too.

August so far.

Hi everyone. I haven't talked to you for ages so thought I'd tell you what's been happening so far in August.

Firstly Mumma went to her Godson Noah Oldham's place for a party.

His Mum and Dad had a party for him and his sister Willow to celebrate their Christening, which they had in New Zealand a few months ago. I went too and we had such a lovely day in Noah's garden.

There was a really cool cow cake.

And Mumma and Noah had lots of cuddles.

This is Noah with Mumma and his Godfather Will.

While Grandma and Grandad were here we went to stay in a little cottage in Dorset. It had a thatched roof and was built in the 1600's. It was very cute.

Mum and Dad beat Grandma and Grandad at lots of games of 500. It was probably due to Baxter's help.

There were a lot of lovely walks to do nearby. Mum forgot my hat so we had to make do with this silly looking one.

Dad had to go to work one of the days we were away. He was filming on board a big sailing boat with Zara Phillips. We went to the Isle of Wight to see him for the day.

Baxter loved his holiday away too.

I have been eating lots of food. I now have three meals a day and especially love sweet potato!

I love sitting up at the table like a big boy.

And rolling around on the floor. I think I'm pretty clever and very funny.

Oh yeah - I found these really cool things on the end of my legs and if I try really hard I can get them in my mouth...

Even when I am in the bath.

Grandma and Grandad left last week. It was very sad saying goodbye cause we had such a lovely special time with them. It's lucky that Mum and Dad are taking me on a plane at the end of November to see them again!.

Mumma decided she wanted to learn how to knit so asked Grandma to help her. With a bit of help she knitted me this really cosy jumper... She thinks she is pretty clever - so do I.

Baxter has taken to hiding from me. I'm not sure why - I only grab one handful of his fur at a time...

Dad has been doing a project for the Crown Estate, filming Windsor Great Park so Mum and I went to help him find some cattle the other night. We didn't manage to see them but we had a lovely walk.

On Saturday Mum and Dad decided it had been far too long since we had seen some of our friends so we went to a great pub called The Roebuck in Chiswick and asked our buddies to come along and say Hi. We had a lovely day and got to catch up with a few friends.
Here I am with Janelle.

Baxter came too.

Of course I got lots of kisses from Mumma.

And my buddy Mylo came with his lovely Mummy Moana...

And Daddy Jeremy.

I got to have cuddle with Mo.

And Gannon.

And Trav who gave Baxter cuddles too.

Afterwards we went and had some dinner at Mylo's house. Uncle Mark arrived on this very strange machine. Dad snuck me out to have a look. I was pretty cool but I promised Mum I wouln't go on one again.

On Sunday it was time for more catching up and a very sad goodbye.

My friend Gabe's Mum and Dad had a BBQ and I got to see some of my friends. Cerys, Gabe, Hazel and I had a lovely time.

Then we went home to say goodbye to my bestest friend Sylvie. She popped in on her way home and Mummy and Daddy had to say goodbye to her Mum and Dad and Orla too. We were all very brave and instead of saying 'Goodbye' we said 'See you soon' - cause luckily we will see them in a couple of months in New Zealand (phew cause I think Mumma would have been a bit of a mess if it had been any longer than that...)

Tomorrow Dadda is going away for four whole weeks. I'm not sure how long that is but Mumma assures me it is ages. Its quite exciting for him cause he will be flying around Poland and the Ukraine in one of these things...

And looking a bit strange.

I'm going to miss him heaps!

Hope you are all well and see you soon.

Love Alby.
