Some very fun adventures.

A while back we took on the boys on an adventure to Longleat Safari Park... It was loads of fun and the boys had a ball.

We saw giraffes - Charlies favourite.

Zebras.

Flamingos

Some very naughty monkeys...

Rhinos

Tigers

It all got a bit much for Charlie...

Alby took the car for a spin.

While we drove through the lions.

Rups had fun too.

It was a wonderful happy day.

Alby had recently been rather obsessed with dinosaurs, being able to name quite a few of them and tell us loads of interesting facts about the various types. While Topsy and Tim were here we decided to take him and his brothers on a dinosaur adventure at the Natural History Museum. He wore his safari hat for the occasion.

It was a really fun and happy day, made all the better by having Topsy and Tim to share it with us.

On their last great adventure Don took Tim and the big boys to Brooklands museum which had lots of cars and even an airplane... Suffice to say they all had a ball!

Hopefully there are many more fun adventures to come! We'll keep you posted.

Topsy and Tim come to stay!

We have been so lucky to have Topsy and Tim come and visit us from New Zealand. They arrived on the Saturday of Easter weekend and leave us tomorrow. We have had such a lovely time with them!
I took the big boys to meet them at the airport - very very exciting!

On Easter Sunday we had homemade hot cross buns.

And a hunt for some chocolate.

Rupert looked on.

There were lots of stories to listen too.

And then we headed up to the Lake District for a few days 'glamping'. It was a pretty special spot...

No power but a stove to heat and cook from and heat up the hot tub!

Topsy and Tim slept in a cupboard...

And had lots of morning cuddles.

The boys loved it.

We toasted marshmallows...

Rowed a boat...

And made the most of the tub.

Apart from Rupert who made do with the sink.

There was a cafe down the road for cake, a swing and a spot of croquet.

It was a wonderful couple of days.

We've spent the last couple of days pottering at home. We popped into London to see the dinosaurs and lions (another post to follow), did a spot of dressing up and have finally erected the wonderful hammock we received for our wedding.

The time has gone so quickly and we are going to miss Topsy and Tim so much. We have loved having them to stay! Next time we see them will be when we move home to New Zealand!
