A Turkish Holiday.

We have just returned from a wonderful 6 days in Turkey. We went to a place called Kas on the Turkish coast with 6 of our friends and had a fantastic time. Here are some photos of the trip.

Alby was an absolute star the whole holiday. He was great on the plane and didn't complain too much about the 2am wake up call to get the 6am flight... He slept and bit and played a lot and then slept again on the 2 hour car trip once we got to Turkey.

Here he is on his first plane ride...

This is the amazing Villa we stayed in.

The food was incredible - so fresh and tasty. This is breakfast...

Alby ate outside for most meals. Mostly enjoying himself

He did lots of swimming - and had loads of sunscreen protecting that lily white skin!

Just like his Dad.

There were lots of hammocks to sleep and hang out in.

And the beach down the road.

Alby loved swimming in the sea and playing with his new friend Stan.

And other new friend Dion.

This is the view from our balcony.

The sunset.

And Cat by the pool.

Don and the boys went mountain biking for the morning. And this is what they saw.

And this is the resident tortoise.

An early evening play with Alby's new friends. Jamie, Gareth, Cat and Stan. Nat was there too just out of shot.

Gareth and Cat.

And a family photo.

More sunsets.

One day we all went on a boat trip. It was another beautiful day and we headed out at 10am.

Alby was ready to go with his sailing hat on.

And helped the captain steer the boat.

One of the other boats on the water.

We went swimming in the sea.

It was pretty deep...

Alby was supposed to be sleeping...

We had an amazing lunch cooked for us.

Fish and chicken on the bbq.

And all the other goodies...

There was a sunken city that we passed.

And this island we stopped off at.

With yummy ice cream.

We meet another baby and the turkish people thought it was very funny calling the two baby's ice cream - vanilla and chocolate!

An afternoon nap.

And one of the two fish I caught.

And then we were back.

Our wonderful hosts.

An typical evening for the boys.

And our last night out for dinner.

Alby and Aunty V.

And us buying Turkish Kilim's

The Turkish people all loved Alby and we have discovered he is a bit of a show off - grinning madly every time anyone looks at him... This week he was described by one of our friends as a 'smile merchant'!

These are the lovely ladies who look after the villa. They wanted to keep Alby for themselves.

And then it was all over and we headed home to Englefield Green. We had the most amazing time and highly recommend Kas and Villa be Happy if you are ever in Turkey.

Here we are back at home. Alby still enjoying his food...

And wrapping up warm in the all in one woollen suit that Gillian knitted him!

Back to reality and settling into Autumn. We managed to miss the hottest week of the summer and it was dark this evening at 6.30. Lucky we are off again in about 7 weeks to spend summer in New Zealand - Yay!

Me and My Dad.

You know how my Dad has been away for ages... Well he came home for a night and a day on Friday. Me and Mum were very pleased to see him!

I hung out with him and we watched some rugby on Saturday morning.

And then on Monday Mumma took me up to Stoke-on-Trent to see him. Here I am at breakfast with all the cyclists in the background.

Dad has missed me so much he thought he'd see if I'd fit in the panniers on the back of his bike so that he could take me with him... Mum decided this wasn't such a good idea so I had a practice driving instead!

Dad is home for a few days again on Sunday - I can't wait!
Check out this video of Baxter and his friend Medlar... They love sticks!

I'm 6 months old!

Hi everyone. Today I am 6 months old! I'm not so sure what the fuss is but Mum assures me that its a special day and I sure did get a lot of kisses and of course lots of photos taken. She said that we had to have a photo shoot cause it was such a special day...

Here are lots of her favourites.

I know, I know - there are loads of photos... I love these two best cause Mumma says they remind her of herself in this one...

And Dadda in this one!

Oh and speaking of you Dadda. Thanks so much for the cool video! I loved watching it and Mum cried a bit. We both think you are very clever.

Here are a few pictures of what I've been up to since we last wrote to you.

Here I am with all my NCT buddies. Last week was the first time we were all together since we were in our Mummys tummys! From left to right there is Cerys, Me, Noah, Charlotte, Hazel, Chloe, Amelia and Gabe. Cool aye?!

On Monday Mum's cousin Lucy and her husband Kevin and boys Toby and Henry came to visit us. They are over from Australia and it was great to see them. We went for a lovely walk.

Here is Toby with Baxter.

Our neighbour Gillian was there too. Here she is with Henry and her dog Medlar.

The boys and the dogs.

Here is Mum and Lucy. Mum was surprised at how short she looks. I think she thinks she is taller than she really is...

And check out the hat Gillian made me... Isn't it great! She decided I needed something that didn't keep riding up over my ears. I love it!

Thats all my news Dad. I hope you are good and enjoy your last few days in Ukraine. I hope we get to see you tomorrow night but Mum says not to get our hopes up cause you might have to go straight to Scotland. I'm crossing my fingers and my toes that you get to come home for the night. Love you.

Bye everyone. Talk soon.

Alby.

Happy 6 Month Birthday

Hi Alby.
How's it going? Dad here.... well that first 6 months went pretty quick ay? Are you having a party today? Maybe you will get more banana than normal so you can throw even more of it on the floor... that would be fun!

As you know I am working in the Ukraine today so I made you a wee video to show you what we have been up to over here.

Love and hugs from Dad.
