we have just arrived back home from a week long holiday in Scotland and here are a few snaps.
We visited Stirling Castle where Alby loved running around in the big rooms and shouting at the top of his voice.
And Alby was VERY excited to take a trip on a big old steam train.
He was allowed to have a look at how the engine worked
The main reason we went to Scotland was to visit Georgie, Jamie and Jack Simpson.
Jack is a month older than Charlie and is in Scotland on holiday from his home in Uganda.
We also went for a drive to look up a few historic family locations on the Rutherford side.

Charlie and Jack had lots of fun hanging out while Georgie and Anna had a good catch up.
and Jamie, his brother Gavin and I headed into the hills on our bikes. Happy days.
