Its was a busy weekend...

Anna took last Friday off to catch up on a few chores and enjoy the amazing weather we have been having. The long weekend started pretty well with an early morning walk in the park.
The day before Don had taken Baxter to the lake for the first time where he discovered the water and the mud. I took him again and he met a friend. He had so much fun trying to keep up...
And this was the state of him afterwards... He needed a bath.
On Friday afternoon we went into London to help out the Hills. They were finishing off their backyard and needed a few extras hands...

Baxter was very helpful.
And it looked wonderful when it was finished.
Orla and I supervised with Baxter and made sure everyone was doing a good job.
They are also doing up their bathroom so Hannah baths Orla in a bucket in the sink...
She pretends she doesn't like it.
But really she does...
The working bee at Hannah and Jon's was to get the backyard ready in time for Orla's first birthday party. The theme was flower fairies and it was a lovely day and we caught up with lots of friends. Baxter came too and was very well behaved. Of course.
Afterwards we went to Clapham Common to catch up with our good friend Theresa Bruce who has just returned from New Zealand. Ben and Cat and baby Max were there too. He's pretty cute.

Then it was Sunday and Don went to Blenheim Palace to film a triathlon. He finished early so went to visit Malcolm and Amanda in Oxford. They took him to visit their allotment.
Then they all came home to Englefield Green and we had Mojitos and a BBQ in the sun.
