We think maybe summer is here...

It has been the most beautiful day here today - 26 degrees... Don is in Scotland working and I have been hanging out in the garden again with Baxter.

We have decided try to make our garden a bit more comfortable and prettier... So I headed down to the garden shop this morning. Here are the results.

We are going to get a couple of fruit trees as well but I will wait till Don gets home for that.

While digging the garden I discovered why Baxter loves to dig here too... Who knows how long these bones have been here for but they obviously still smell pretty good

Baxter has also enjoyed getting into the vege garden so Don had the good idea of covering it... Everything seems to be enjoying the the covered warmth.
I have also replanted all the tomatoes which we grew from seeds - hopefully they like their now home outside and start fruiting soonish.
Don had a day off last week and carved this cool number for our door. Now the postman has no excuse for not finding us.

Dad and Mary kindly gave us a sewing machine for our wedding which we got delivered a few weeks ago. The first thing I made was a bed for Baxter to go outside. We got a bag of old towels from freecycle of which I sewed a couple together to make him a comfy nest for the shed.

Baxter has had his last vaccination so as of Tuesday is finally allowed out and about. We gave him a bit of a taste of the big wide world yesterday when we let him out the gate - I think he's going to love it!

We are hoping to get away next weekend for the Bank Holiday which will be great - I have been investigating place on the Gower Peninsula in Wales http://www.enjoygower.com

And of course what post would be complete without a hello and goodbye from Mr cuteness himself...
