Charlie turns 2 and other adventures.

On the 13th of July Charlie turned 2!

We had a party for him and also to celebrate Don's birthday. It was a beautiful day and we were able to spend it in the garden.

Keir and Radka came with baby Amelia...

Rupert roamed the garden.

Stan and his nephew Ihaka.

Charlie was the star.

We had a piƱata for the kids.

It went down a treat.

Charlie had requested a tractor cake.

Stan entertained the kids in the hammock.

Feeding time...

Charlie loved being the centre of attention!

The next day was his actual birthday. The traditional present opening in bed...

He got a tractor and trailer which was just perfect to transport his animals in.

In other adventures Rupert has decided he like to stand and climb.

Two pirates went fishing.

The weather has been amazing so there has been a lot of swimming.

And outdoor eating.

The boys love exploring the park.

And decorating Mummy.

But sometimes it all gets a bit much...

See ya!

Update and Beach Holiday.

Hi, apologies for the lack of posts, we have both been super busy with working and looking after our boys. Our big news this month is that we have finally bought a house. It has been months of waiting and arranging paper work but with help from family and a good mortgage broker, we are now on the property ladder. The house is situated on Te Atatu Peninsula in Auckland, it needs a lot of work done to it but we are super excited about the challenge ahead.

Back in Englefield Green, we are enjoying the summer sun, with bike rides...

rides on daddy

And fun in the playground.

This week it was my birthday so we decided to go camping at West Wittering Beach.

The boys love the seaside and we had a great time together.

Rupert ate a lot of sand...

fun with mummy

Star jumps and press ups..

We didn't get much sleep but the boys love living in the tent.

Charlie the animal lover was stoked to find that the campsite had some 'scary cows'

piggy wigs

And a donkey.

Back home we were greeted by our friendly deer who grazes just over the garden fence.

In June I was away for work a lot. Heading to Mugello in Italy for the MotoGP

Le Mans in France for the 24hr race

Chamonix in France for a Asics footwear commercial

And St Petersburg in Russia to film sailing.

Anna has had a very busy time at home and is kept on her toes as the two older boys become more and more independent

Stomping divots at the polo..

Jumping into the bath

Rupert has also become more independent and we have to keep a close eye on him.

Sometimes it gets all a bit too much and we just need a nap.

Love and hugs from Englefield Green.
