The end of summer.

Hiya. The end of September is very nearly here and we thought we ought to take some family photos... Here are a few.

And speaking of family, we had cousin Mark, cousin Georgie and her hubby Ashley out for dinner last weekend. It was lovely to see them all.

I was having a clean out of our photos and found some we hadn't shared...

A while ago we took the boys to a safari park. I have a feeling we enjoyed it more than they did but it was a very fun day.

Alby helped drive.

There were giraffes.

And monkeys.

An ostrich (Alby had to borrow a change of clothes from Gabe as he puked over his...)

Penguins.

A Ring-tailed Lemur.

Wash and Gabe.

And a Turkmenian Eagle Owl...

Our very exciting news of late is the we have been commissioned to make a 3D TV show for Discovery channel about Monster Trucks.

So we celebrated and Alby got a new monster truck toy.

It's very exciting and even better as it means that although Don is working very hard getting the show made he is home in the evenings and weekends. He's been having lots of cuddles.

Charlie is loving the park.

As is Alby, apart from when he face-plants in puddles and has to wear Dadda's jacket home.

Alby is getting really good at swimming. He absolutely loves it and doesn't need us to hold onto him any more.

He loves to push Charlie in the pushchair.

And has been taking a few spins in his car.

He also took a spin on his friend Nate's scooter which he loved. I think we might have to invest...

Nate stayed for dinner and they shared a bath.

Here are some pictures of some other friends we've been hanging out with.

Playgroup was too much for Bella and Charlie.

Cerys and Alby are very sweet together.

And we met Denny Scwhass, he's a few months older than Charlie but not quite as big!

We now only have 7 more sleeps till Topsy arrives... there are some very excited people in our house - we can't wait to see her!

A trip to Wales.

Hi everyone. Charlie here. Thought I'd tell you about the last few days... While Dadda is working on the Tour of Britain Mumma decided to take me, Alby and Baxter away to Wales for a few days. Our great friend and next door neighbour Gillian has a house in Broad Haven were she goes every year and invited us to come along. So we did. We left on Wednesday after Alby finished nursery. Mumma said we were very good and slept half the four hour journey and didn't make too much noise for the other half.

The house was wonderful. A log cabin on the edge of a cliff looking over the sea. Mumma said he was in heaven.

This was the view of the sunset out the window the first night.

Gillian and Medlar (the dog) said they were were pleased to have us there even if we were quite loud. Here is Alby trying to put his shoes on Baxter.

We took the dogs walking on the beach everyday. They had SO much fun. So did Alby.

Thats our house in the background on the cliff!

Mumma says I am turning into a delightful little boy now that my tummy doesn't hurt so much. I just think these big people that look and me and talk in silly voices very funny!

Medlar and Baxter had lots of fun together but weren't allowed in the kitchen!

Alby chatted to me lots. He's quite funny sometimes.

He had a bit of a tummy bug so had lots of cuddles with Mumma.

I wore his hat which was a bit big.

Mumma put me out on the lawn while Alby and the dogs had a run around.

It was fun.

Happiness is a spade on the sand...

and snuggling with Mumma.

Alby loves Gillian.

And me. This was us this morning before breakfast. Mumma said 5.45 was far too early to be awake but we wanted to see what was on the TV...

One last look at the sea and then we hit the road back to Englefield Green. We were very good in the car again and made it home safe and sound.

It was such a lovely holiday but next time we'd like Dadda to come with us!

See ya!
