Alby Goes Swimming.

Every Tuesday I take Albion for his swimming lesson. Today was our 5th week and Don came along to see what we do. Here are a few pictures and a little video.

Don thought Alby looked a bit bored at swimming but he really does love it!

On Sunday it was Fathers Day. Don wasn't here in the morning but got home in time to open his present. Alby made him a special card and got a picture printed on a mug for him.

He is getting very strong now and can push himself up onto his elbows...

But it's pretty tiring!
We also have a Jolly Jumper for him which he loves but is perhaps still a bit small for, as he's not very upright in it!

As you can see Baxter is never too far from the action. He is quite protective and will make sure he gets as close as he is allowed!

We also have a resident Squirrel... He has been spotted on the fence accross the road from the house eating nuts...

And bread from our bird table.

And yesterday we caught him in the act.

After swimming today Alby's friend Gabe came to hang out. He is very sweet.

And yes - Alby is getting more round as the days go by... We think he might be a bit like a squirrel and is storing nuts in those cheeks for winter!

We're Going On A Bear Hunt...

So Mum and Dad decided to dress me up like a Bear and take some photos. They are a little bit odd. These are their favourite ones.

In other news here I am with my friend Sylvie. Mummy and me went to stay with her and Hannah and Orla while our Daddy's were away. We had so much fun and even woke up at the same time in the night. It was a shame our Mummy's didn't know cause they could have talked some more while they feed us. She likes holding on to me but I was more interested in the colourful bugs - secretly I think she is so small and sweet and I think she will be very beautiful.

I got to hang out with my Dad on Monday. He showed me what he had been up to while he was away, filming motorbikes in the rain. It was pretty exciting!

I'm getting very excited that there are only 16 more sleeps till I get to meet my Grandma and Grandad Rutherford! I hope they have a safe trip on their way to me - I can't wait!

Thats all from me. See ya soon.

Meet my friends.

Hi everyone.

Every Thursday me and Mummy meet up with some friends that Mummy and Daddy met when they were learning about what to expect when I arrived and when I was still in Mummy's tummy. Here is a photo of them before we were born...

From left to right:
Mummy, Mia, Alice, Elaine, Alli, Jo and Lou. (Michelle isnt there cause her baby Cerys came a bit early as a surprise!)

And here they are with our Daddy's and their teacher Rebecca.

They came to my house today and this is everyone in our living room - it was a tight squeeze... (check out all the food!)

I would like to introduce you to my friends.

This is Gabriel. He is the youngest of my friends and was born exactly 4 weeks after me. His Mum and Dad are Lou and Washington.

This is Cerys. She's the one who surprised her Mum and Dad, Michelle and Luke, by arriving 6 weeks early!

Here is Noah. His Mum and Dad are Greg and Alice. He has good cheeks like me!

And next there is Hazel who you have met before. Hazel and her Mum and Dad, Pete and Mia, live just down the road.

This is Charlotte. Her Mum and Dad are Alli and Rob and she was a bit sleepy.

Last but not least there was Chloe who you have met before too. She has the coolest hair so we had to have another photo of her!

Sadly my other friend Amelia couldn't come today. Her Mum and Dad, Jo and Neil, have taken her away on a holiday with her Grandparents. Her Grandparents are from New Zealand like mine and they have come to meet her.

Some of my Grandparents are coming to visit me soon and I can't wait to meet them in a couple of weeks!

My new friend James couldn't come either. I met him at Baby Massage and will introduce him to you soon.

I know, I know. You haven't seen me yet... Don't worry - of course Mummy took photos of me... And I know what your saying and I am doing my best at growing my hair as fast as I can!

Here are some photos of me and Hazel. I think she might be my girlfriend...

All of our Mummy's have decided to to a 5k walk on the 10th of July to raise money for Cancer Research. You can sponsor us if you'd like!

See you soon!

Toby, Tea, Flowers and Walks in the Park.

So Daddy has been away in China. He went there for work for 6 whole days so it was just me and my Mum at home. Oh and Baxter too of course! We made sure we kept busy doing lots of fun things and we had some visitors too.

Uncle Toby and Aunty Lucie came to see us. We went for a walk through the park to a pub for lunch. It was fun and I loved talking to Toby and Lucie. They are so much fun.

Mummy has been taking me to swimming lessons. It is really fun and I love being in the water. I am slowly getting used to having my head under - I don't scream any more. Here's me in my togs before I got in the pool.

Hopefully Dadda gets to come and watch one day and can take a video to show you how clever I am in the water.

Mumma also has been taking me to Baby Massage. It has finished now but it was very lovely and relaxing. On our last class my friend Noah and I found its so relaxing we had to have a nap.

While Dad was away Mum also took me and Baxter on lots of walks. Sometimes in the pushchair...

And sometimes in the sling where I have to wear my hat!

I like hats.

On the way home from one of our walks Mumma found this frog waiting for us at the front door. It gave her a bit of a fright when it jumped out at her. I thought it was funny.

As a treat Mumma sometimes let me nap in her bed - but only if I was very tired.

Dad arrived home on Tuesday. I was very pleased to see him.

He thought I had grown lots - my hair especially!

Mum made him some yummy cinnamon bread as a welcome home treat. I'm too little to eat it but man it smelled good.

He bought Mummy a really cool Chinese Tea Set and some tea. She thinks its great!

I hung out on the dining room table while they had tea and ate the bread. I wish I could eat bread.

Dad bought a cool new camera while he was away so he took me and Mummy and Baxter for a walk in the park to test it out. Here's some photos of Baxter - he likes sticks.

While he was having a swim a family of little dogs came to chat to him. He stayed in the lake.

There were a family of swans in the lake too - they stayed away from Baxter.

Of course they had to take some photos of me... Mum thinks this series is quite funny - I'm not always happy you see.

Here are some other photos Mum and Dad took with the new camera.

Some more from our walk.

Some of the pretty flowers in our garden.

The gorgeous lilies on the dining room table.

And my nappies hanging on the line.

Yesterday afternoon we went back to the park for a late lunch/early dinner. I showed Dad how strong my legs are.

Oh yeah - Mum had her hair cut! She says she's not so sure about it but Dad says he likes it. The lady made it all straight so she does look a bit different but she's still my Mum...

Dad's off to work again today so me and Mum are going to head to to London a bit later. We are going to go to Aunty Lucies house and hang out for a bit with her and Toby. Then we are heading to Aunty Sarah's farewell party. That makes me a bit sad.

And tomorrow we are going to Orla Hill's 2nd birthday party. She's throwing a music festival called smOrlstock. I can't wait for that and will ask Mum and Dad to put some photos up of our weekend soon.

See ya!
